Raymond Burr (in his pre-Perry Mason days) starred in this 1951 beauty and the beast tale. The acting isn't bad in this entry into the ape film canon.
A small mysterious island somewhere in the vicinity of Sumatra was first given the enigmatic name Skull Island in the original RKO promotions for the 1933 film King Kong. This “Skull Island” follows in those huge, furry footsteps and aims to provide a backdrop and setting with simple rule mechanics for miniature skirmish games that borrow a page or two from The Big Ape screenplays and adventures of the past century.
